ACS Program Details:
       
  ROCK Camp Program    
    Send every eligible child from the North Central Region, expected to total 120, to ROCK Camp for one week this summer.
      costs include a "campership" paid to Boggy Creek Gang Camp, transportation, ACS staff, back packs, water bottles, send-off parties, insurance and administrative overhead.
       
  ROCK College Scholarships    
    Provide college scholarships for all eligible students from the North Central Region, expected to total 50, this year.
      costs include tuition, book allowance, mentoring, program materials, and administrative overhead.
       
  ROCK Families Weekend    
    Sponsor all eligible families from the North Central Region, expected to total 25 families, attending this years Families ROCK Weekend. Families ROCK Weekend is a weekend retreat for families witha child having a cancer diagnosis - designed to teach each family member coping skills and to provide a respite from the challenges of cancer.
      costs include transportation, hotel, meals, program materials, ACS staff, professional consultants and administrative overhead.
       
  ACS Chris DiMarco Institutional Research Grant    
    Continue funding for the ACS Chris DiMarco Institutional Research Grant
      includes a grant to the University of Florida Cancer Center to assist new young student investigators get started in cancer research.
       
  ACS Norma DiMarco Summer Research Fellowship Program    
    Fund the newly named ACS Norma DiMarco Summer Research Fellowship Program
      includes the cost of grants paid to summer research fellows.
       
  Pain Management Program    
    Pay for medication to control pain for those suffering from cancer and are unable to secure medications from other sources.
      includes the direct cost of providing pain relieving  medications to cancer patients who have not other source of funding.
